It is a fact that &quot;HEY RAM&quot; were not Gandhiji&#039;s last words. Kamal Haasan just stuck to the facts here. Nice to see multiple interpretations coming anyway.

Do you have any explanation why Gandhi did not say the last words HEY RAM as he fell to the floor? I have a few possible explanations, like this:
Since Gandhi himself turned out be the Ram in the analogy, he did not call out Ram&#039;s name.

But none convince me more than the one that follows:
The person who chants Ram&#039;s name at the time of his death is regarded as a true Vaishnavite who goes to Vaikuntham(Swarg). But since the definitions for the true Vaishnavite are redefined (as by the song), gandhi goes to Vaikuntham anyway...

Please let me know if u have anything else to say on this...Isn&#039;t this the magic of the movie that you have hundreds of interpretations and all of them are right!!!]]></description>
