Wonderful compilation (or should I say ‘montage’) of images from Polanski’s filmography. Gives a glimpse to the inherent angle of voyeurism in his films, or so it seems cos I’m far from having watched ’em all.

Yes, that’s been a dominant theme of his movies till about The Tenant. But watching his later films, his most dominant theme seems to be the fickle boundary between good and evil, the induction of the former into the latter and the inability of a person to tread a middle path.

More terrific point shere by you JAFB and Subhajit! What is Polanski’s greatets film? For me it’s between KNIFE IN THE WATER, REPULSION and (surprise) THE PIANIST. But MAC BETH, THE TENANT, ROSEMARY’S BABY and TESS are all up there. I was never a big fan of CHINATOWN as so many others are.
Fantastic screen caps here.

Sam, Fine choices there. A very close call for me there too. But if I am to choose one at a gunpoint, it would have to be The Tenant
